Here are a few photos I took of Cleeve Abbey where the castle scenes were set, in the village of Washford in Somerset.
Finally found something recognisable that can be seen in an episode, an oak tree! It's not much but it's a start. See bottom row, middle picture. It's clearly seen in 'Voyage to the bottom of the forest' at approx 5m 38s.
The last picture is I'm sure where the Pixie Paul scene (The Wise Woman Of Worksop) was filmed.

This is where you start to go down in to the woods. Behind, the track carries on through a field to the road. This is a bit further down the track. This was the first piece of recognisable scenery I found that conclusively linked these woods and the filming location of MM, an oak tree! This is at the bottom of the track way you see in the previous two photos. This is looking down the track towards the oak tree. This is where the gang come across the boat. I think this area is where they filmed Pixie Paul scene.
