Here you will find site info, news and my ramblings.

I'm going to start of with a plea for help first. The forest scenes were filmed in woods next to Porlock in Somerset. I've been there several times but I'm having trouble locating where the village was located. I found a field they used in The White(ish) Knight which is next to the woods. Anybody there during filming? The woods scene used in my banner at the top was taken by me in those woods last year.

The copy of the script has been re-typed from my original copy word for word and I have kept the layout the same as the original. I have included a scan of the front cover.

The castle locations were filmed in Cleeve Abbey in Washford and I still have more photos to upload when I find them.

Doing the lyrics was a big task. Listening to the same lyrics over and over again and trying to work out what they were took many hours work but hopefully worth it in the end.

Got hold of this a while ago:

Sorry it's taken a while to add something to this site, just been so busy over the last few months.

Hooray! Finally got round to uploading a couple of photos of the woods where the forest scenes were set. Taken earlier in the year on one of those days rarely seen, a hot sunny one! I was seriously beginning to doubt if this was the right place. Still trying to work out where exactly the village was. If you've ever heard the saying 'you can't see the wood for the trees' then this is true here! I have to try and identify places by mainly looking at the trees. When they are in leaf along with everything else that's growing, it's hard to see what's what. I feel a winter trip coming on when everything has died down a bit and I can see the trees a bit better. Just glad I know I'm in the right area now.

The first two photos on the bottom row of the photo page is the track which leads down in to the woods and is a lot steeper than it looks. Would have love to have been there when they took that boat down there.

It's been a while since an update but you're just going to have to wait just a little longer but hopefully it'll be worth it. All I'll say at the moment is, thanks Crazy Margaret!
